Project Description
The Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) was designed with a large number of required Special Systems. During the construction phase, The JW Group (JWG) was contracted to provide peer reviews and additional assistance to finalize the special system(s) designs and develop shop drawings to be used to install all special system components. To perform these activities The JWG personnel performed coordination with the general contractor, the overall systems integrator, and the individual system providers to determine and finalize all system requirements and develop shop drawings for review and approval. Additionally, The JWG personnel assisted in performing field reviews to assist in the development of as-built system documentation.
