Project Description
The JW Group (JWG) was responsible for the development of a new communications infrastructure to support the Security System Upgrade at Memphis International Airport (MEM). The communications infrastructure included communications rooms, fiber optic backbone cabling, local area network, and supporting infrastructure. Included in the scope of work was the development of a Basis of Design, Design Development Documentation, and Construction Documentation detailing equipment specifications, infrastructure and network drawings, rack elevations, and cost estimates. Finally, The JWG provided construction administration services to oversee the implementation of the new communications infrastructure to ensure conformance to the contract documentation.
