Jim Willis President, IT Planning & DesignJim Willis is an experienced IT professional that has been providing professional services within the aviation industry for over twenty years. His experience includes planning, programming, design, and implementation for aviation specific software and services including complex integrated systems.
Jim has performed the program management and project management role for IT planning, design, and implementation projects for numerous airports throughout the nation.
Jim is a National Association of Radio and Telecommunications Engineers (NARTE) Certified Engineer (NCE) as well as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) by the Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI), a critical certification knowledge base necessary for the proper design and implementation of communications infrastructures.
Jim holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Engineering Sciences from Drexel University. In addition, he has furthered his educational background with numerous industry training and continuing education courses strengthening his knowledge of special systems and communications infrastructure.
Jim is acknowledged as assisting in the development of the 2006 TSA document: Recommended Security Guidelines for Airport Planning, Design, and Construction, and the ACC document: Airport Information Technology & Systems Best-Practice Guidelines for the Airport Industry.
Tim Schneiter has over 26 years of professional experience in architectural / urban planning & design. For the past 17 years, Tim has focused specifically on aviation development projects which have allowed him the opportunity to work at airports in over 29 countries.
Tim speaks fluent German and worked in Frankfurt am Main and in Munich, Germany for 9 years. He was a Resident Sr. Airport Planner for the development of New Athens International Airport in Greece for 2 years and was the Project Manager for the East-Apron Expansion Project at Munich International Airport in Germany.
His areas of expertise include project/program management, airport master planning, aircraft apron parking, terminal planning & design, preparation of architectural design documents for all design phases, terminal space programming, demand capacity analysis, preparation of procurement / tender documents, airport IT systems planning & design, financial / operational assessments and construction supervision. His experience has included overall onsite project management for several large-scale airport development projects as well as managing foreign project site offices in Kuwait, Sudan and the Philippines.
Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and a Master’s of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Tim is also a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida. When he is not travelling, Tim enjoys running, reading, boating, scuba diving, fly fishing and cherishing spending time with his family.
Steve Ritter has over sixteen years of operational, strategic planning, design, and technical experience focused on the airport and airline industries. He is an experienced project and program manager and has held key positions at both airline and aviation consulting companies.
Steve has managed many highly visible consulting engagements both domestically and abroad, including airport master plans and airport privatizations, business process improvement programs, process redesign projects, IT strategic plans, IT master plans and implementation of new technologies and systems. He is well versed in the planning and design standards of the FAA, ICAO and IATA and is also a licensed pilot.
